Here's some tips and tricks to help your candle last longer and burn better!
The very first time you light your candle let the wax melt and pool all the way to the edge of the jar, and every time after!
Candles actually have a memory, so to speak, in that it will remember how it burned previously. This means if you don't let the wax pool completely form it will start tunneling in the middle, preventing the candle from burning to its full diameter.
Make sure you trim your wick after each burn!
In order to keep the flame from getting too tall and becoming a potential fire hazard it's a good idea to trim your wooden wicks before you light your candle each time. You can trim with a wick trimmer or just pinch the top with your fingers!
Stop using your candle when it gets to about half an inch of wax left.
Even if you can still light a flame, you should never let it keep burning past this point as the glass gets too hot and could shatter!
